Service Description
My MOS was 05B40--Radio Trained Operator. I was with Charlie Co. the nite They 53 men in an ambush, but I was the only one who was never awarded a C.I.B. because I wasn't designated as infantry. And this really hurt. I requested that my MOS be changed to 11B, and it was awarded to me as a secondary MOS but I was still denied a C.I.B. James Gordon sent a letter to the Awards Commission on my behalf, but I was still denied. It's as tho I wasn't ever in combat action. James Gordon will verify my combat experience, so I'll have to be content with that.

I have B.A. degree in psychology from Lee University. I'm retired from Bowater Newsprint. I also have ALS (Lou Gehrig desease--dead man walking).Ihave 1 daughter and granddaughter My granddaughter starts to college this fall to study anestheseology.
