Jim Wojczynski Photos July '68 - January '69
Jim Wojczynski - Lt Ski In country from August 68 to July 69. Came in country and was assigned to Charlie Co and given the first platoon. First day in the field was at Nui Loc Son. Stayed in the field until around January 69 when the 1st Platoon was turned over to Jim Gordon and I was sent back to Chu Lia as the XO for Charlie Co. After a sort stay in Chu Lia it was back to the field for a month to fill in for a platoon leader we lost. After that I spent the balance of my tour on LZ Center working in the Tatical Ops Center (TOC) as one of two officers who coordinated the movement and activities of the 3/21 companies in the field.
Returned home to Grand Rapids, Michigan where I still reside with my wife Sandy. Four grown sons.
